Victorian Christmas @ Midway Village

Step into the holiday season at Midway Village Museum’s Victorian Christmas! Visitors can enjoy a stroll through the village, stopping at our historic buildings to learn about Christmas traditions during the Victorian Era. Activities will include parlor games, telegrams and letters to Santa, and ornament making.
Explore stations on traditional gift giving, Charles Dickens, and more! Watch us print postcards while learning about the evolution of Santa through the ages – or purchase a token for the chance to print your own. Warm up with a hot beverage and Victorian Christmas desserts served by Vintage Goose Café. Enjoy carols performed by 2nd City Chorus and take a photo with Father Christmas. Meet Buster the holiday horse and goats, S’mores and Snowball!
Families with members of all ages are welcome. Adults $13, seniors $12, children $11, members and ages 0-4 free. Rockford residents can enjoy free admission thanks to the City of Rockford and Rockford Area Convention & Visitors Bureau. Holiday treats and postcard making available for purchase.
