It’s been a LONG time since we’ve had a cask sent to us, so let’s celebrate the final Firkin Friday of the year. We just snagged a freshly filled firkin of Revolution Brewing’s Ïistmas, and we’ll tap into this on Friday, Dec 30 19th at 4pm and it’ll last until…. it’s gone!
PS: *This is not a keg. You will likely not find “real ale”/cask beer offered anywhere else in Rockford. This is a firkin (or cask) of naturally conditioned real ale. The final fermentation occurs inside this container, meaning the beer inside is ALIVE. Expect a lower level of carbonation and softer malt flavors and aromas. Casks take a extra care and handling compared to kegged beer. We think it’s delicious and worth it.
