This Thursday’s musical guest is huge, not just in physical stature (Blake is pretty tall), but also in reputation. Blue Steel has “set the standard for the state-line music scene”. They bring country and rock together better than anyone else. “The result is a flawless blend of music with an undeniable edge, a truly entertaining show that you will not want to miss”. And in case you haven’t heard, they were inducted into the Rockford Area Music Industry (RAMI) Hall of Fame earlier this year. Our food truck lineup will once again include our very own creation, The Ice Cream Shack, offering soft serve sundaes, milkshakes, concrete mixers and boozy ice cream cocktails like The Grasshopper, Chocolate Peanut Butter Whiskey, Double Berry Vodka Delight and Cinnamony Fireball Snickerdoodle. But before you dig into those, you’ll want to get some pizza, tacos or barbecue into your system from Pizza Fresca, Mario’s Taco Express or Rusty Drum BBQ. Food is available starting at 5:00 p.m. and the live music from the Hard Decks Sound Stage starts at 6:30 p.m. So come early, get a table (and a drink!) and enjoy music by Blue Steel under the clear blue sky!
