The Last Firkin Friday of 2022 — Revolution Fistmas Cask Tapping The Olympic Tavern

PS: *This is not a keg. You will likely not find “real ale”/cask beer offered anywhere else in Rockford. This is a firkin (or cask) of naturally conditioned real ale. The final fermentation occurs inside this container, meaning the beer inside is ALIVE. Expect a lower level of carbonation and softer malt flavors and aromas. Casks take a extra care and handling compared to kegged beer. We think it’s delicious and worth it.

Fistmas, our Holiday Red Ale is steeped with ginger and orange peel. It features notes of fresh-baked bread, caramel, and stone fruit along with holiday cheer. 6.5%abv.
