2024 Rockford Boxing Classic

The third annual Rockford Boxing Classic is set for 4 p.m. Saturday, August 10, 2024, at Rockford City Market. An all-ages outdoor boxing festival featuring some of the Midwest’s top amateur boxers and first responder bouts, the Rockford Boxing Classic is sanctioned by USA Boxing and The Illinois Local Boxing Committee. Event proceeds benefit the nonprofit Rockford Patriots Boxing Club, a division of the Patriots Gateway Community Center (501(c)(3)).
The Rockford Boxing Classic annually draws thousands of visitors from the Midwest to downtown Rockford, where amateur youth and area police officers and fire fighters compete for boxing pride. Thanks to the support of generous partners, the Rockford Boxing Classic is FREE general admission. Attendees enjoy local food and beverages, music, interactive entertainment, a 50/50 raffle and more!
