Comedian Bio’s for the Night:
Host Joseph Christopher performs comedy all over the IL/WI brat belt; he takes mustard and sauerkraut. He delights crowds with sharp, concise jokes and a lovable grin. He recently cried during an episode of Bar Rescue.
Guest Feature Chris Bongat is a Filipino comedian/musician based around the Chicagoland area. He lives in the absurd and observational and has been featuring and hosting in bars and clubs for over 5 years. His laid back but sharp humor makes him versatile in any environment. When he’s not on stage you can catch him writing and composing for comedy short films.
Main Feature Dan Cass is a Chicago-based comedian that frequently performs at major clubs in Chicago such as The Laugh Factory, Zanies, and The Comedy Bar. He is the artistic director and producer for The Love Below Comedy Show, a co-producer and co-founder of Block Party Comedy at The Cards Against Humanity Theater, and a co-producer of Lowkey Comedy at The Laugh Factory in Chicago. He studied twice at the Moscow Art Theater in Russia and was a feature Stand Up Comic for the first annual Boom Chicago Comedy Festival in Amsterdam. His comedy is vulnerable and thoroughly based in connection to his audiences, as he believes them to always be right. Serving strangers and turning them into new friends is the reason Daniel loves to perform.
Headliner Sohrab Forouzesh is a Chicago based comedian and writer who won’t take it personally if you say his name wrong. He moved to the U.S from Iran when he was just eight years old, and his material is heavily influenced by his experiences as a fat Persian kid growing up in America. His rapid-fire delivery paired with his down to earth relatability is what makes him a favorite of the local Chicago comedy scene. He was recently named a finalist for StandUP NBC, and he’s also a regular at the world-famous Laugh Factory, Comedy Bar, and Zanies Comedy Club.
