Comedian Bio’s for the Night:

Host Laura Hugg is graduate of the Second City Conservatory, produces a monthly comedy variety show called “Keep Coming Back” at The Lincoln Lodge & co-produces a stand-up showcase called “Comedy Tub” at Kedzie Inn.

Guest Sam Selby is a Chicago-based comedian and writer whose comedic style can only be described as the perfect combination of cute and crude. She produces Comedy Darlings, a monthly stand-up show, at the Lincoln Lodge Theater. And Femme Fatale Comedy Hour, a bi-monthly show at Beauty Bar.

Main Feature Peyton Ruddy is a stand-up comedian, writer, and actor from Chicago! Starting stand up comedy while still in high school at 17 years old, he’s been working and headlining comedy clubs and venues all over the Midwest including The Second City, Zanies Comedy Club, Laugh Factory, The Comedy Bar, CG’s Comedy Club, Improv Olympic, The Comedy Shrine and Riddles Comedy Club. He’s a regular around Chicago at many showcases and has won numerous stand-up competitions while quickly becoming a crowd favorite. He has been recognized as one of the most promising up-and-coming comedians in Chicago!

Headliner Seth Davis was Born in Chicago and raised on the mean streets of Skokie, Seth Davis is a Stand up comedian, writer, and producer. A graduate of The Second City and iO Theater, he has been described as pee-in-your-pants funny by people with bladder control problems. Seth delights audiences with his charismatic and self-deprecating humor through personal stories, characters, and his own mental illness (OCD OCD OCD), which has given him a reputation among comedy nerds in two Chicago bars as “The Bad Boy of Comedy”. Seth has won the Oakland Comedy Machine Contest, Last Laugh Chicago Comedy Contest, and the Skokie Theater Comedy Contest. He has also appeared in You’re Being Ridiculous at the Steppenwolf Theatre, NACA, The Chosen Comedy Festival, The San Francisco Standup Comedy Competition, Comedians You Should Know, and has performed in comedy festivals across the country. Seth produced the critically acclaimed live comedic storytelling and podcast show I Shit You Not, Laughs on a Hot Tin Roof, and in the improvised children’s show, Storytown. You can catch him in Chicago at Zanies, the Laugh Factory, or on his couch eating Mongolian beef from China Chef. His comedy has been reviewed by The Reader, Timeout Chicago, and the Chicago Tribune; they actually said pretty good things.
